Life is so much easier when you have 72 drawers to hide things.....oh I mean organize things! Sure I has to open 7 drawers to find something, but I'll fix that when I find the perfect vintage wall paper to tag all those drawers. I found this chest of drawers on a recent trip to Virgina. From what we know it was used by a shoe maker.
PS sorry the photos are a bit blurry. I forgot that I had been using manual. Not to worry, it will show up in photos again later.

ReplyDeleteJoy, this is my Sister's dream...she has a drawer obsession! I'll send her over to admire and drool over your find!
I tried to moderate this comment on my phone...not a good idea... I rejected it with my big fat fingers!!!
Drawer envy....I know...I have been looking for a piece like this for a long time! My dear sweet husband even made a trip back to Virgina to pick it up! We were on vacation. I know that I have turned my convertible into a truck before, just to many suitcases this time!
ReplyDeleteWow! what a wonderful find! I love drawers. I have an old library card cabinet (Not nearly as many drawers though :).
ReplyDeleteWhat I did was fill each drawer with like things and placed a temporary hand written label as to what was in it. Then when I had pretty much something in each drawer I copied the information in "Word" and then selected the A - Z feature. I sized the font to fit and then printed them out. Then I rearranged the contents of the drawers one at a time so that they were all alphabetized. It makes finding the items so much easier.
Have fun with your wonderful cabinet!
